Luke, Treetop Co, Founder

Engineer by background, Luke spent 3 years living and working in South India with the Treehouse Community - a talented team of eco-architects and treehouse builders. Working with wood every day, learning about sustainable forest management, tree surgery and treetop construction was the perfect antidote to a computer based design job in the UK. In India Luke’s engineering background came in handy as he led the design, management and build of several large scale treehouse projects and adventure playground builds.

Luke returned to the UK in 2018, determined to apply the skills he’d developed to a UK based venture built on similar ethics of construction which is sensitive to nature (learn more about our tree-friendly techniques). Through Treetop Co Luke hopes to inspire the next generation of eco-builders by working with communities, planting trees, and designing and building spaces that push boundaries and connect us with nature.
