Douglas Fir Tower
This gnarly tower is built entirely from locally sourced Douglas fir logs and oak branches. Features include log steps carved out by chainsaw, a climbing wall, a pendulum nest swing hung from a round wood frame, a secret trap door, a fireman's pole and a flared hexagonal roof resembling a wizard’s hat. The structure is totally freestanding and built free of cement and materials which do not degrade. The posts are buried deep in the ground and the earth is compacted down around them.
