Nassjo Treehouse
Burrowed into the lush pine forests of the South Downs, where the owls soar and the nightjars churr, is the Nassjo Treehouse. To begin your journey through the trees, first, climb up the rustic tower built from logs and oak branches. From the tower, cross the bridge to the play platform where you find a climbing wall, a scramble net and a fireman's pole which shoots through a trapdoor. All platforms are fully supported by 5 Scots pine trees and enclosed by a hand cleft oak railing. Natural woodwork features are dotted throughout, such as our curved branch braces and stag oak archways. From the play platform, take the second bridge across to the treehouse, a cosy abode fit for children and teenagers. The treehouse has a wrap-around balcony taking on a hexagonal shape at the front. A roof covers the entire structure so one can enjoy the balcony in all weather. The house itself has custom windows and doors, hand-forged metal hinges and handles. Inside find a loft bed with a skylight built into the roof overhead. Underneath the treehouse, you can rock in a pendulum swing or scale a set of monkey bars to a hidden trapdoor. A final feature we added is a seesaw built entirely from logs.
