The Grotto
Built into a thicket of Lawson Cypress is the Grotto. This tiny cabin is clad in British cedar, has doors and window frames made out of dark red Sapele and the arch is trimmed in Oak. Due to the lack of light in the hedge we created reflective light tubes which project upwards and cast natural light down into the Grotto. Other features include a secret compartment, hidden behind a picture frame and a serving hatch built into the door.
