The Wilderness Treehouse, Cambridgeshire

Tucked away in the grounds of a beautiful home in Cambridgeshire is the wilderness treehouse. The treehouse design mirrors the architecture of the house, a 400-year-old gothic building. The treehouse has 8 sides, each one with a pointed window arch. The three back walls have large windows, whilst the front 4 walls of the treehouse have smaller ones. The door is also framed inside a pointed arch and the roof of this tiny home is pointed and covered with cedar shingles. The treehouse platform neatly encircles the 2 of the 3 trees that support this structure so that you can touch the trees as you walk across the deck. For playground features, we opted just for a slide, to keep things simple, and we used a scaled down version of the treehouse design to build a miniature birds bird's house which is mounted upon the hand rail!
